Credit installments are a regular part of the family budget of banking customers. It is essential that the client weigh in advance if he has the financial capacity to ensure the payment of benefits arising from the loans he intends to contract.

Risk of non-compliance
The non-fulfillment of the credit responsibilities occurs when the banking client does not pay on the due date a commitment under the credit agreement that he / she has entered into. Customers with credits in default are subject to penalties and their assets may be seized. The banking client must have a cautious approach, anticipating a possible default situation. If you anticipate difficulties in paying your debts, you should promptly alert the credit institution.
If abanking client reports that it has difficulties in paying its obligations, the credit institution is obliged, by virtue of Decree-Law no. 227/2012, of 25 October, to assess its risk of default. The credit institution should propose solutions to avoid breach of the credit agreement, whenever feasible. In order to inform Banco Finantia of the existence of difficulties in the payment of your obligations, you can contact us at +351 707 781 000 or via the email.
PERSI
The PERSI-Extrajudicial Procedure for Regularization of Situations of Default, created by Decree-Law No. 227/2012, of October 25, aims to promote the resolution of default situations through solutions negotiated between the banking client and the credit institution. Credit institutions are obliged to integrate non-performing loans into the PERSI procedures between the 31st and 60th day after the occurrence of default. Credit institutions are also obliged to start PERSI as soon as there is a non-payment of an obligation, in cases where the bank client has alerted the risk of default. The bank customer with non-performing credit may request at any time the immediate integration of this credit into the PERSI. Within 5 days after the start of PERSI, the bank client will be informed of this fact, as well as of his rights and obligations under this procedure.
